problem with internet connection via a USB

ESET SS 5 is doing great in my computer.but now i have a problem.........I usually connect to internet through a USB data card.but now when i click connect button the computer gets hanged for almost 5 minutes and then only net connects and the computer becomes slow also.......but the problem is not there when i connect to internet through my phone or LAN........pls help me regarding this....I tried disabling all protection.......still no use.....

specifications:
vista
4GB RAM
dual core processor
USB data card is RELIANCE NETCONNECT(in india)

I tried but still it is slow when i connect and after it is connected net speed is very very slow.............so i uninstalled ESS 5 and installed NOD antivirus with comodo firewall.............

 

try going to advanced settings and turn off scan usb every time its plugged in and test to see if it is still like that..imo you would still have web filter and the normal file av
