Whispercore Encryption Strength and Algorithm

Is Whispercore at least 256 bit AES?

If not then it's not really worth it. I was thinking of getting the Nexus 3 just to have this operating system.

 

Yes. They don't have it in the description but if you download the SDK you can see for your self. Basically WhisperCore is just LUKS LVM in it's default configuration setup for you and with a built in firewall.

You can also set up LUKS manually on any rooted phone. Not sure why it isn't mentioned right on there site but they do mention using LUKS LVM. I am sure it's just an oversight.

Yes any Android base phone can use LUKS LVM. It is not easy but if you can follow a guide verbatim you will do fine.
