Are you on pre-release or regular update?

Then you've probably recieved Antispam module 1017 that updates the antispam files.

Under non pre-release on v4 Business, I'm showing:

    Update module: 1037 (20110921)
Antivirus and antispyware scanner module: 1322 (20110923)

Seems to me some modules still are in beta servers/state and therefore not available to v3/v4 users.
    e.g. The SysInspector module.

That would be an incorrect statement, until recently, I was running pre-release Beta on v4 Business, while I cannot speak for the v3 engine.

They are, some localizations have them translated as "beta updates".

Back that up with fact and our readers will believe you - since you do not, your claim holds no water.

I have nothing more to discuss with you on this matter.

I ran beta releases for many builds as in modules and no longer choose this option. This thread was not posted to debate if pre-release modules were or were not modules - the OP wanted to know what they were.

This, I believe has been addressed. There is no need to beat what has already been stated.

My UI shows beta-releases as enable test mode, this I have always read as Beta releases. This is really all moot but, if ESET wishes to continue the thread although I think the OP has a fair answer, that would not be an issue for myself. When you say "localisation" this would mean some users would not necessarily see via a maintained log file of these items as the same as others, thus room for interpretation.
