Hey buddy, just a quick question, maybe you can help me understand it better...

What´s the difference between OA++ and OA Premium + EAM v6 ?! Is there any difference between those programs, version, or anything?!

Does OA++ provides the same level or protection of OA Premium + EAM v6 ?!

    Thanks!!!!

No problem, first i'll start saying i'm not an expert but here we go LOL :)

OA++ has all the features Online Armor has plus a basic version of the EAM engine (Only On-Demand scanner) with almost no granularity (Advanced features and configurations)

OA Premium + EAM would have one of the best HIPS currently being developed plus all the advanced features of a scanner (Schedules, regular updates, behavior blocker, deep scanning etc.) :D

To a certain point if you talk only about detection, it should work pretty much the same but OA Premium + EAM has more potential.

Just a side note: Emsi itself says OA++ will not be updated with EAM v6 engine.

OA++ has the scanning engine's of EAM but doesn't have the configuration nor does it scan on read only. Not access. It also doesn't have the BB that EAM has. It uses OA's HIP's.

Nice to see windows 8 uses it more. I hope developers start using it. Not all but anything that uses internet media or has a addon should use it.

I did but went back to Comodo though. Haven't found anything better so far. It worked pretty well but I am so accustomed to how Comodo and D+ work I can't seem to stick with anything else.

tried IE9 for a few days but it felt too slow and clunky.
sometimes, the whole contraption freezes for a couple of seconds while it loads a page.
you can't even move the scrollbar while it's 'digesting'.
better luck with IE 10 i hope...

    i had to re-install Chrome.

Same here. Started having problems with Firefox a couple of days ago, so I tried IE9 again, clunky is the word for it. Felt a little out of date. I've given up on IE9 for good and loaded up Chrome again, and man is it fast. No problems at all, so it's staying on.

I'd like to try Panda AV if it's light, might be a good fit for checking download files using Sandboxie, but I think it used to have a lot of false positives. Have they gotten the fp number down now?
