I've seen mention of this release in another thread but Eset UK has 5.0.93.0. Is 5.0.94.0 released? If so, with what changes and why can't it be downloaded in the normal way?

Correct. If that is what the OP was looking for.

Please see the announcement sticky here

    The changlelog is here

If you are unable to download the latest build use the ESET USA site to do so.

    Thank you.

    Jeremy -

    I'm experiencing the same thing...

A program-update check from within the program says I have the latest version... 5.0.93.0.

Either it's a bug or the check-from-within-the-program servers haven't been updated with the latest version or ?

So, the posting by Foneil at
    https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=309138
    is not completely correct.
    Why?
It does not tell the whole story.
    Why?
The Business Edition is still at version 4.

Why it is so difficult to tell the whole story, is beyond me :ouch:

    Hey SweX,

I know that I sounded a bit too hard, but look at it the other way. There have already been posted questions about the Business Edition version. So, if and when there is an update, why not add a few simple words that this is for the home (consumer) editions. It can be so simple. It is about to try to avoid confusion. Nowhere is stated that this forum-section is only for the home (consumer) version.
    ;)

    Cheers,
    Jan

No. I'm UK, I look at the Eset UK site for downloads and it's still @ 5.0.93.0. Not that I'm bothered as this 'minor update' does not appear to fix the issues I have with v5.

Probably just a cosmetic issue. I bet if you download it, it turns out to be .94

You might be right, but I'm reverting to v4 as I write - fed up with the GUI & HIPS issues which continue to plague me.

Server population issues are not new on new releases. We have seen this many times at milestone releases and buxfixes, as this one. I would not hammer and unknown installer over my existing installation. :ouch:

The installer will tell you if you try to install the version that's already installed, otherwise it will perform an upgrade.

Can someone running the ENG (english) edition confirm the program check is showing 5.0.94 before upgrading?

The onus is on ESET to do this, end-users should not be Beta-testing released software :ouch:

Mine still says that 5.0.93.0 is the current version. But since i'm not having any of the issues listed in this bug fix i'm not bothering to update. If i was I would just download the new version directly from Eset.

The UK site still says v5.0.93.0 but when I downloaded it, it did install as v5.0.94.0.

It is indeed functional but 5.0.94 has not been released yet for upgrading via the program.
