    Hi all,
I'm extremely pleased to announce that SecureAnywhere has won not one, but two Editors' Choice awards for both the Antivirus product AND the full Complete Suite.

    http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2393678,00.asp

We've also had a third party review done on our performance which put us at the absolute top in virtually every metric - http://www.webroot.com/shared/pdf/Webroot_SecureAnywhere_vs_antivirus_competitors_27Sept2011.pdf

We've also just released two videos for SecureAnywhere - please spread them as far as possible!

Webroot.com has also been redesigned for the release: http://www.webroot.com

We also have a press release out: http://www.marketwatch.com/story/we...troducing-webroot-secureanywheretm-2011-10-04

Another article from ZDNet has also been posted: http://www.zdnet.com/blog/btl/webroot-secureanywhere-targets-zero-day-attacks-from-the-cloud/59517

    And one from geek.com: http://www.geek.com/articles/geek-p...and-ios-protection-under-one-license-2011104/

    And from CNet: http://download.cnet.com/8301-2007_4-20115069-12/new-webroot-kicks-off-with-micro-installer/

The full review from CNet has now been posted: http://download.cnet.com/Webroot-Se...2012/3000-18510_4-75219495.html#ixzz1a6aQfIZR

Thank you all for your help and support during the beta phase. It's getting very exciting - we're in the process of releasing everything live now. We'll still be keeping beta users updated faster than non-beta users and over the next few months, we'll be upgrading existing Webroot and Prevx customers to SecureAnywhere.

Please let me know if you have any questions and thanks again :thumb:

How do I upgrade my version of Prevx to this new all singing and dancing version please ? I have 3 licences with 10 months remaining on each. I also have 3 licences for the editors former choice Norton 2012 which also has 10 months remaining, what do I do with it ?

We have a fair amount of work on our end to be able to transition license keys over from Prevx 3.0 to SecureAnywhere. We should be offering support for this in the next couple months but at the moment, the products are still purchased/used separately. One thing to keep in mind is that Prevx 3.0 and WSA don't co-exist so for the time being, you're probably going to need to choose one or the other.

Thanks, having read the reviews I'll be going with this editors choice again, so it 'll be hello Prevx + and goodbye Norton 2012.

This Beta phase has been a pain free experience for me personally, without doubt the lightest security product I've experienced...well done guys! :thumb:

*Edit* One thing though WSA Complete & Essentials only seem to offer a 3 pc licence, why no single one?

    Congratulations!
I see WSA Essentials and WSA are only available as 3-5 user licenses, no 1 user licenses, not a good choice IMO.
Will there be a free Identity Shield only version like SafeOnline Facebook version?
I have some relatives that like it better than Trusteer, but SafeOnline's browser support is outdated.

Great question. I'm wondering about that myself. I would expect an Identity Shield only version to be a direct competitor against Trusteer. :doubt:

Can I still use the beta version for the remainder of my 90 days or do I have to uninstall it and go back to my Prevx 3

You can still use the beta without a problem :)

I've asked on this myself now as it seemed a bit odd but this does appear to be correct (it is similar to what other security companies do as well). A 3 user license is the smallest number of PCs you can buy for the Essentials/Complete version.

I haven't heard anything final with the Identity Shield-only version yet but we are planning a free scan version and I suspect the Facebook protection would be in the same category. I'll let everyone know as soon as I hear something definitive on this.

Re: Compatibility with other security programs:

I notice that nowhere on the new Webroot site is there any mention of being able to run SecureAnywhere along with another "traditional" AV. I always thought this to be one of the strong points of Prevx.

Is this just a marketing decision (to not detract from it's stand-alone capability) or is there a technical reason for this?

Yes, there is very strong offline protection. It has a local signature base for prevalent threats and it monitors programs as they install when offline to block them proactively and to automatically undo their changes if needed.

Our press releases have mentioned it but it looks like our website isn't saying anything about it at all. We are still fully compatible with every security product (except for Prevx 3.0 :)).

Joe, I only have a single PC here, if I am going to have to buy a 3 user license to use the 'Complete' version Webroot are going to loose a customer because I am not interested in the AV version.

Congratulations to all that have worked so hard to make this happen. :thumb:

Is it possible to use Webroot license (e.g. for WISE) to activate WRSA? Sorry, it's probably mentioned somewhere already, but haven't seen.
While beta testing presumably Prevx license will still have been counting down?
    Thanks. :)
