I just moved back too. Panda Cloud is nice and light but WSA is super smooth and very secure. Can't wait to see how the finished product shakes out...:thumb:

I was stable version you get directly from Avira's website, not sure though since he downloaded it but it should be the stable version you can get directly.

It didn't even last a few hours, he says that Avira was affecting a LOT browsers performance (Rendering and just scrolling down) :)

    Shadow Defender
Comodo Firewall plus the hips component
Sometimes sandboxed browser ( once again with the aid of Comodo )
Two partitions ( one partition is obviously shadowed with the aid of SD )
Firefox with some important adds ( such as the virus total add-on, WOT , the LastPass add-on and adblock plus together with adblock plus pop-up blocker)
Sometimes surfing within a VPN ( virtual private network ), in my case right now Hotspot Shield.
That's it, not much else to say I guess :)

Good Afternoon ! Back to using Vipre Premium and Prevx 3.0 & Safe On Line. Eagerly awaiting Vipre 5.0 now in Beta and Webroot Secure Anywhere also in Beta. My Prevx subscription expires in less than sixty days,so it will be interesting to use the release candidate of Secure Anywhere, and to see if Webroot will offer any special introductory pricing on the product. Hopefullly the release candidate will available at that time. Sincerely...Securon

Liking it so far. Feels a good combination with MBAM PRO.

can anyone who is using VIPRE beta let me know how the resource usage is? I'm wondering if I should give it a try since I have a license good till 2014. (my Norton is due to expire in a little more than two months) and I'm hesitant to renew based on the AV/C test results that just came in.

It's complicated, but basically because I was having a problem with Windows7 that I thought was caused by the new install of VMware. Turns out it was something unrelated that I've just fixed, but I didn't really need VMware and since I want to use as few programs as necessary, it stays off.

I'm thinking about putting Avira Premium back on just so this license isn't going to waste. One last season in the sun with an antivirus before I say goodbye...

But if I notice that much of an impact, it's coming right back off. I don't think it will though. Avira (both Personal & Premium) is the 2'nd lightest AV I've ever used after Nod32 v2.7

Back to WRSA - I just can't get enough of this thing. I liked Panda Cloud well enough, but I have to say, the interface is pretty naff.
