Installed. Too many non working addons. Compatibility reporter does nothing for most of them. Back to 6.0.2. :thumbd:

Just installed it here with no issues. Although it reports java is not compatible. :D

Yeah I've been at BBR for quite some time as well. Howdy to ya. ;)

How so? I've used it without issues throughout version 5 and beyond.

Java console is installed by default with regular java (JRE)... but you probably want to remove it since a) it's broken b) it is not compatible with latest firefox stable release

The compatibility reporter? Doesn't help with Download Studio, Norton, WinZip Courier, Adobe plugins, Sticky Password. All of the ones that come with paid software.

Well ... fingers crossed ... touch wood ... light blue touchpaper & stand well back ...

I really like Dictionary Search & I originally used it on SeaMonkey, but alas, it is no more on the monkey. :'(

Firefox 7.0 or JRE 7.0? Doesn't matter, still doesn't work.

I'm still on Firefox 6.02, so I'll see what happens when I update Firefox to 7.

I use the Is It Compatible extension to check for add-on compatibility before updating Firefox.

Surprisingly, with 28 add-ons, I didn't even have to use Add-on Compatibility Reporter.

I saw some sort of add-on error re. Java/JRE while updating Firefox 7 beta on a Windows PC a few days ago. I was in a hurry and didn't bother to look into that.

I don't have any issues using Java. Ignore the Java Console, which is useless for normal users.

I like how performance has increased, and resource usage decreased.

For me, the final is when it's pushed to me. Quite pointless jumping the gun.

I tried FF7 in my VM and it may be helpful to know that the following continue to work:

    Grab and Drag
    Lastpass
    Readability
    Tab Mix Plus
    Xmarks
    Adblock Plus

There is already some talk about FF7 in the Symantec forum. The toolbar will be updated after a bit - they seem to wait until the "final" is released before finalizing their own code.

The good thing about this add-on is that its dev. team (Palant, et al.) is really active and there's very little chance of the add-on being incompatible even with Fx beta or Aurora.

As long as devs use the dev version of the browser there's really no reason for anything to be incompatible. That's why Chrome rarely has those issues. Once the Firefox devs get used to this new system I don't think it'll be an issue at all.

Those three definitely does. If Readability doesn't, there's always the bookmarklet. There are ways to force compatibility as well.
