My hard drive crashed, and I had to get a new hard drive. I am trying to restore the system image and files I backed up from the old HD. I can restore the files from the external backup drive, but I can't get the system image restored. Has anyone else had problems doing this? Any suggestions?

AFAIK, native Windows images can only be restored to a new disk of at least the same size as the original or preferably larger - is your new HDD smaller capacity than the original?

What is the exact issue? Is the image restoring but not booting? Any error messages? Give us some more details...be happy to help!
