    Sorry Pieter, all it says is bad command or file name with the desktop, and it does nothing with the C:file.
    You must be getting sick of me by now! lol

    Not of you. I bet you are not doing it on purpose. ;)

    Before we both go down in agony, there is one big plus to having ME and that's System Restore.
    Is that an option or don't you know when all this started?

    Suggestion - but it may be silly. :rolleyes: :rolleyes:
    What about a boot to DOS and using dos commands to look for something.

    No to Q1 and I totally agree to Q2! lol

    It's a puzzle to me, but almost everything about 'puters is a puzzle to me, anyway!
