    Thanks for the link. Don't know which test to trust. Any way I'll stick with what I like and what makes me comfortable the most.:)

    wow pc tools did great but Webroot wow.

    it will be interesting seeing AVG 2012 tested

    I wonder if they are using Eset 5 since some results are 'user dependent'.
    Nice to see improvement with Avira. Not a great month for F-Secure.

    Well I would not suprise if it were v4, as it receives the same signatures and the dependant part can occur in completely unknown threats like NewHeur_PE or packer detections.

    Symantec did the best, meaning they've used their resources effectively. Can't say the same for McAfee.

    Overall, I'm satisfied with the results of the products I'm using.

    IMO user-dependent is as good as a fail. Great results for very few, decent for a few more, pretty poor for the rest.

    f-secure and avast are little down in the tests then most of us would have expected......

    Actually, we didn't really improve things related to this test. The improvement in detection rate wasn't that big for Avira, but rather other AVs dropped somewhat. Weird. Summer holidays? :)

    I expect much better protection when the next version of ProActiv and the NV AI are introduced.

    Compared with the 2010 results,

    Symantec and BitDefender have made a huge progress during 2011. :thumb:

    Avira and Panda dropped...:doubt:

    I wish we'd see Vipre in more of these comparisons...I know it's light on resources and scans real fast, but I want to see how it compares.
