Just installed 5.0.93.0, uninstalled 4+ first, download and registration was a piece of cake. :)
One question, not a complaint just interested, ekrn.exe Mem usage is 74,408 K, up a bit from 4+ which was around 63,000 K, is this around what you folks are seeing ?

@Win XP Pro SP3.(AV default settings)

    Thanks, Bud.

RAM usage < 50MB, then you are probably using a 32-bit operating system.
RAM usage > 50MB, then you are probably using a 64-bit operating system.

The same applies to Microsoft Security Essentials, the 64-bit versions use substantially more RAM.

Thanks everyone, interesting, looks like I'm on the upper end.
Would I be correct in assuming it very much depends on OS and processors. (Pentium 4 here) ?
@Seems like those using Windows 7 are seeing around half the memory use some of us are.

Not at all certain if that's the case but my memory usage is definitely in line with yours on 2 XP machines (75-80MB), both of which are P4s.

You'd better open a new thread for queries on a different subject. As to your question, email received via POP3/POP3S or IMAP/IMAPS is scanned regardless of the email client used.
