It looks extremely similar to RollbackRx. I sent them a mail asking for a trial but they said they don,t have a trial version.

I have asked them what is the relation of their software to RollBackRx, waiting their reply ATM. Interestingly the guys are from my country.

Well, the claims are a bit "large" (go ahead, format the disk and we'll bring it right back) and the facts/specs are almost non-existent at this point. Other than the formatting issue, almost any sandbox or ISR tool can do what they claim.

I'd be very interested in what they have to say about the "mechanisms" they use, snapshots, etc.

    Thanks for the heads up...

WOT indicates it's a known rogue since 2009.

No trial version?,,,,,I would not touch it with a 10 foot pole.

A rogue is not without a trial. WOT is in-accurate many times.

    Hi aigle,

IVK definitely looks like a Rollback Rx knockoff to me. Sort of reminds me of the first time I saw Comodo's Time Machine (which turned out to be an RB knockoff)...

If it is an RB knockoff, it probably includes and relies on a companion disk-imaging program (as RB v8.x did) to recover from an accidental disk-format.

If I'm correct, the name they chose is inappropriate and actually misleading in that an ISR program doesn't kill any malware. I suspect that it is (in itself) quite vulnerable to malware and (just like RB) works by restoring to a snapshot created prior to the infection (and with some rootkits that doesn't always work)!

Probably, but other than screen shots and a features-list there isn't enough to 'hang your hat on' ...not even a user-guide!

I'd be cautious of that for sure...like Aaron pointed out, no guide or anything.
