    It gets better the longer you watch it. Win8 uses 200mb less RAM than Win7 with an improved, built in anti malware client running at the same time.

    Windows 8 Developer Preview will be made available later today (in about 8 hours) from http://dev.windows.com

    No activation, completely public.

    Yeah I missed the beginning, rewatching now.

    I think I might move to the dev build.

    In light of the improved security (enhanced Windows Defender), able to repair itself/clean install, lighter footprint, and uses Window 7 drivers; I'll give it a go.

    During the keynote presentation they boasted a lot about Win7 apps working on Win8, I've my fingers crossed.
