Some people have reported problems running CIS with MBAM PRO. In fact, the practice is discouraged on the Comodo forums.

I'm using CIS 5.8 beta and Sandboxie (No AV in CIS for me) and it's just fine on its own.

Anyone with the latest CIS, can you check out the CPU usage, Disk IO, and RAM usage? AV-only.

Now running Privatefirewall without Process Monitor and System Anomaly Detection enabled.
It sure speeds things up! ;)
But can I adapt to life without a HIPS?
The speed enhancement allows me to run MBAM in real-time once again.

Ahh so you did do hehe, nice Page. Yes you can adapt to a life without HIPS and few other things. Its all up to you. ;)

I used MBAM pro with CIS with no problem. I just added exclusions in both apps and it was fine. Now do you need to run MBAM Pro with CIS? well thats another issue.

Was going to buy DefenseWall tomorrow but have purchased a laptop that comes with 64-bit Windows. I'm now testing Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2012 as I'm seriously considering buying it. Running quite well so far.

Could you try an on demand scan and let us know what you think of it as far as speed is concerned?

You could try and give SafeOnline a new try (outside of Sandboxie, of course). You can have Prevx loaded and enabled only when needed, if you'd like to. :D

Yes it sounds pretty good, but I must confess to not following the beta thread too closely.
It will probably be awhile before I install it. :)

After testing Kaspersky and Norton's 2012 products, I've decided to go with Norton. It really is amazing the turnaround Symantec managed with NAV and NIS. Gone are the bloated monstrosities of circa 2003; instead we now have apps that are light as a feather yet feature rich and highly effective.

Been reading a lot of positive things about Symantec/Norton but I have a question.

Is this the same as what Comcast offers or are they different?

If there is a difference what are they and what are the similarities?
