I like Site Inspector. I wonder if they will ever release a Google Chrome extension, etc., though. :doubt: Probably, not...

But, it's a good service, IMO.

I see no reason why not since their Dragon Browser is of course related to Chrome.

Yes, but COMODO can make the extension only available from within COMODO Dragon Browser.

They don't have to release it to any other Chromium-based browser. This wouldn't be very appealing. Somehow, I don't imagine other Chromium-based browser users downloading COMODO Dragon Browser just for the extension, and re-download Dragon Browser everytime a new extension version comes out. :D

The extension/addon will not work only for Comodo dragon, and seems that will not be a toolbar.

Is it possible to use only the sandbox and firewall without defense +. I want to use it as an anti executable (assigning unknown executable as untrusted/blocked). I want to use comodo with KAV 2012. I tried setting default deny SRP via parental controls but it is not working with KAV installed.

Yes of course, although you can deactivate D+ permanently (d+ settings) I recommend you to take a look to this guide about how to configure D+ as an anti-executable

No, but I'm sure it can be done.
Do you want the antiexecutable mode because of the HIPS popups? If you haven't tried the latest CIS, try it for a couple of weeks and you will see that doesn't have almost popups.
Also you will see that by default, since it has the sanbox, D+ works mostly as an antiexecutable.

No I don't want an anti-executable. I was just asking if anyone tried thats all. I rarely get any popups unless I add something new to my system.

I had a horrific time trying to uninstall Comodo Internet Security. The firewall was block all internet connection and, in general, it was slowing down my entire system and creating conflicts. Comodo was not help; they wanted me to pay for Geek Buddy to uninstall their software that was wrecking my computer. Then (on the Comodo forum site, I found this link:

    http://forums.comodo.com/install-se...taller-tool-for-comodo-products-t71897.0.html

to a community developed uninstaller. It worked like a charm. I have heard some good things about Comodo; unfortunately I cannot report the same.

I have never had any problem uninstalling comodo. Seems that something went wrong during while the firewall driver was being uninstalled.
Of course it's just a piece of software, the best support is in the forums.
Where did you read that you have to pay for geek buddy to uninstall comodo? If you want personalize support from a certified expert 24/7 you can pay it... it's just a service, also you can choose not to install geekbudy during the installation.

Are you using the beta? somebody had a similar problem with cis 5.8 beta, you can not complain if you are a betatester, it is your responsibility to install software for beta testing purposes.

Using Comodo Firewall with Kaspersky Antivirus 2012. I have disabled some options in Defense + since they are covered by Kaspersky Proactive Defense and modified settings in comodo to block unknown executables to act as an anti executable. No issues and no slowdowns so far:thumb:

Running nicely. Thankfully the changes were made for the screen capturing bug. That was kind of scarey.

Anyone having AV definitions update problems? I see on the Comodo forums there are quite a few, and I haven't been able to get CIS to update for a week now. It seems they did some changes to their serves and now a lot of people can no longer connect. Any news on this?

I think this issues were resolved a week ago with the other update, maybe you need to uninstall it and install it again.
With the new update still does not work?

By the way the best is the update mode, CIS just download the files that needs to be substitute, like avast, no installation. :thumb:
