As the question says, will it update itself automatically to the final version or would I need to uninstall it and download the final version?

Is it true that the released date is the 13th of September?

    Hello Matrix Leader
The Rumours says the 13th of September, other than that i do not know more about it than you , sorry...but you have to uninstall version 4 before you can install Eset 5. It will not update itself automatically.

All the best and take care

Is possible that a PCU can be released, but you should schedule a check task for PCU first.

Oh well, nnot a biggie, just wondering.

Will members of Wilders Security Forums get the chance to enjoy the Final version of v5 a bit ahead of the official release date or does it get released for all on this day?

For the most clean install, should V4 be uninstalled before V5 install? Will it matter? Thanks

That's what I recommend as this is a major new release with many changes.
But afaik no it doesn't matter. But if you want to be sure that the install of V5 goes as smooth as possible, I would recommend to uninstall V4 reboot and install V5.

The excitement is building! When I was a kid growing up in the 50s-60s, we got excited when the new cars came out...today, it's when the new security software is released!
