    Hello.

My security software is the following:

    1. NIS 2011,
    2. Prevx,
    3. MBAB Pro,
    4. and Sandboxie (although I'm considering replacing this with DefenseWall)

Can anyone say if dedicated anti logger software, such as Zemana AntiLogger, would also be suggested? Or would putting anti logger software be going to far?

    Thanks again.

    Re: Keylogger Software Recommended?

I'm not sure what's under the hood of NIS, but if your setup doesn't include some anti-logging protection, then yeah I'd recommend it. I think having Prevx & MBAM Pro along with an entire suite (NIS) is kind of excessive. An anti-keylogger though is hardly going too far.

Try out Keyscrambler Personal, or Spyshelter Free.

You should be fine with those progs. NIS, Prevx and MBAM have antilogger features already.

Thank you both for your replies.

Yes, I think that adding an anti logger program would be excessive.

    Thanks

Sandboxie with internet access or start/run restriction and drop rights virtually eliminates the need for anti-keyloggers.

Norton and MBAM on demand is more than enough. Sandboxie is a plus. not more

With your set up, the only addition I can suggest is to use keyscrambler only when you are using your credit card, online shopping, ebanking etc.

You don't need anything else. You can even disable MBAM pro realtime protection. Has it ever found anything?

All these years online, and I've never had one instance of having an keylogger on any of my PC's nor any of my family members PC's. Just for the heck of it,I talked to a PC repair shop a few days ago about this very topic. Guess how many PC's they have fixed with keylogger issues?

    NONE!

Take it for what it's worth.Like I said, sandboxie and Norton, and have sandboxie delete contents before you do any buying online, you'll be golden.

I agree, keep it simple. No need to have all these apps running on your system.
