LOL! SeaMonkey #1 series is all of three years old.

Does it require any particularly special skills to use it?

Speaking of extensions, I quite like this dictionary & Session Manager.

I don't remember Mosaic, but I quite like this retro Mosaic theme. I bet it brings back memories for some people.

The only retro stuff I like is music, Julie London being an example. I avoid Fx themes and prefer to get the appearance I need using the Stylish extension largely because this is one add-on that is being actively developed and has an active community. Further, themes affect a minor overall area of the visible area and so I don't quite get what the excitement over themes is. My loss to be sure ;) There's also a chance, however remote, of a theme not playing nice with something or the other.

I just thought it might be fun. You're right, themes can sometimes not work with other extensions. This seems fine, apart from Webutation's icon being a little squished in appearance in the task bar. I thought it looked nicely 'retro' on my portable.

Julie London? Did she ever tour with Echo & the Bunnymen? ;)

1: Fx themes shouldn't affect the task bar at all. Isn't that Windows territory?
    2: I don't think so.

Maybe I mean the 'add-ons' bar. It (Webutation's icon) is squished even without any theme in the GUI, I can't figure why. It is OK dragged from the 'Customisation' window down to the add-ons bar. I have other icons there: NoScript, Ghostery, Reader, ABP, Translator, Recently closed tab (session manager) etc.

The only other thing is that the Mosaic theme drags them all to the right of the bar, I normally have some on the left. Apart from that, they all work perfectly well in the Mosaic theme. I have discovered that I can't drag & drop URLs from the runbar to the toolbar, which you can in any other theme. Although, you couldn't probably do that with the original. So it makes the whole re-living the '90s thing have a verisimilitude of sorts LOL.

Oh ... that Julie London. ;)

    eCleaner is an excellent addon.
Since I do have most popular extensions installed (~10) and tried out quite a few extensions prior to deciding which ones to keep, it does what it claims.

An alternative which is more powerful, IMHO, is Preferences Cleaner.

Thanks, but since its description is not in English I will wait to try it out when/if the developer will be inclined to translate. Requests for translation (in reviews) were submitted months ago. Shows as being more complicated than eCleaner. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/search/?q=eCleaner

Yes, but the GUI of that extension is in English, and for the description on AMO you can use Google Translate or, e.g., Quick Translator.
