Sales Department around?

    Hello, are the web form we've filled out getting to the Sales department? nobody answered the phone yesturday either........ ESET ENOD32 Business

    thanks, it has been about 4 or 5 days now...

    odd - I was in their office on Thursday - and the phones were ringing and being answered - the phone stats are such as average wait time were displayed on big screens by each department... although I don't remember what/if there were stats on sales calls on display... support wait times were low and malware support had a support queue of ZERO calls when I passed through! :D

    I guess it depends on whereyou're trying to ring webyourbusiness

    I've been trying to ring them for the last couple of weeks here in Australia - using the Aus # from their site - & just keep getting a busy signal, no matter the time of day (during business hours) :rolleyes: o_O
    Ended up sending an email to get their bank details to renew my license.

    Which country were you trying to ring enod?

    I just tried calling the Australian office using the phone number listed here on their web site. Apparently they are closed for a local holiday, but will reopen tomorrow.

    You should be able to get in contact with them, then.

    Must have been 1/2 the Aussie buying Nod in the last couple of weeks :D

    Wow, are they going to respond? LOL it says within 2 business days on the web site... They are making this too difficult. I guess I will wait 2 more business days before suggesting an alternative brand.

    My bad, I replied to the ESET email and got an auto-response, but it was from another company- just happened to be for a AV quote.

    I guess we still have to wait.....

    enomd_1701_D,

    what part of the world are you in? You might be better served talking to a local reseller than the ESET office if you are having problems getting through...

    just a suggestion.

    Are there any local ressellers? I now we can pay full retail at the stores, but we have a large purchase and want discounts like Panda and McAfee are offering.

    There are plenty of East coast resellers. Unfortunately, ESET saw fit to remove the reseller database from their website... you have to contact them to find a reseller (this was one of the silliest things I have seen them do on their website in my opinion).

    If you do a lot of licenses, you might consider becoming a reseller directly - contact me if you want a contact within ESET who can put you in touch with the regional sales manager for east-coast USA... I used to know who it was, but I'm not sure it is still the same person.

    You could contact ESET and ask for a list of resellers. Alternatively, try talking to some of the resellers here (myself included) - we work with a number of resellers under us - as we're a large reseller (in sales, not staff numbers), we have a fairly good number of customers such as yourself who deal with end-users, and they get their software from us rather than dealing with ESET directly.

    Some of those deal end-user, some business - we have a number on the East coast already - some of whom bring in fairly regular deals, some are occassional purchasers... it varies!

    There are a number of reasons why that might be a better fit, but something we probably should discuss offline if you are interested.

    That's good news. You should hear from the reseller very shortly I would think - we generally contact leads from ESET the same or next business day.
