I am now planning to buy this product but the requirements for the clients ,that will be scanned remotely, were not indicated.
    My client scale is:
    Windows NT/Windows XP/Windows 2000/Windows 98/Windows 7
Can the remote PC, on which NOD32 Buss. Ed 4 is loaded ,be able to provide
its functionalities for all these client/endpoints that have various different OS.

    Hello,

Just to add to ThomasC's excellent explanation, support for Windows Server operating systems covers the R2 releases as well, e.g., Windows Server 2003 R2 and Windows Server 2008 R2. Windows Small Business Server is also supported, as is Windows Home Server, although the latter is treated as a desktop operating system.

just be aware that from v5 onwards, the servers (assuming you have some) - will require a server license - that isn't true under v4.2 at present, so we're recommending that customers purchasing now get the correct licensing now, even though v5 is not launched (yet) - it will save a whole lot of reworking of the licenses when launch/upgrade to v5 happens.

    kind regards

    wyb
