    SRWare Updater

A simple auto updater for the SRWare Iron browser.
SRWare Iron does not have an auto updater for security purposes. Some people would like there to be one.

SRWare Updater is a simple utility to give you alerts and download updates for SRWare Iron.

    Requirements:
    · Windows XP / Vista / XP X64 / Vista64 / 7 / 7 x64
    · NET Framework 2.0

    Download

    Thanks.:D

That looks interesting. It will still be a bit of a rigmarole to update Fanboy's adblock list though.

How does Iron differ from Chrome? Are there advantages to using it over Chrome?

Excellent! Thank you for that ruinebabine :) Maybe it's time to switch from Chrome.

If you would like to learn about Iron, you probably shouldn't even bother with Srwares comparison page as it is misleading.

    Of the seven items they list;

    Suggest
    Alternate Error Pages
    Error Reporting

are all preferences you can just disable in options.

RLZ-Tracker does not even exist in official Chrome releases, only promotional releases and is even open sourced.

URL-Tracker is a function that allows the browser to determine which search engine to use in the URL bar. It doesn't even do any user tracking or even related to privacy.

They do mention installation-id is deleted after first update.

Really, the only advantage Iron has over regular Chromium builds is the adblock function. Chromium builds are open-source
