Defensewall is what I rely on to stop keyloggers. (32bit only)

    Are Spyshelter and Keyscrambler compatible?

Yes...IMO...on my two computers (W7 32-bit and WinXP SP3) they both work whitout problems. SS detects KS action called a "hook globall settings" (rule No. 1)...you have to check "allow" and that's all :)

Great feedback in this thread, and much appreciated.

I'd love to have the paid version of Keyscrambler, if only it weren't so darned expensive. I'd pay that much for a lifetime subscription, but certainly not for 1 year.

Eh, just focus on keeping them off of your computer to begin with.

YEP, use 1806 trick (deny execute download) and a proper browser (having low rights tabs)

Lower rights objects are not allowed to record keystrokes of higher rights objects

M00nbl00d has played with this, so he can tell you more about it

Don`t be so neurotic and just install KeyScrambler free. Nothing is perfect, we have to adapt and accept economic compromises and not get locked into the costly and brainless concept of "Diminishing returns".

If some bedsit bum can hack into the Pentagon`s secret little play files, what on Earth is it all about ?

Our available Honky-Tonk open market programs pale into insignificance by comparison, so we have to do the best we can without being obsessed by the unattainable ultimate security package - there is not one. All the available programs are OK for the average user, you just pick those that you think are better than others in your opinion.

And they all keep our systems reasonably secure from attack, but if you become a specific target, then no matter how experienced and knowledgeable you think you are in security matters or computer gymnastics - you`re a goner like the rest of us !

Life is a compromise and some compromises are better than others, but we all swim in this vast Internet Ocean and some get caught and some don`t, it all boils down to experience, skill, financial ability and LUCK.

It looks like KeyScrambler is not made for Chrome browser?
    Just IE and FF? :doubt:

Edit in: Well, I see in one place the website says, "Ideal for IE, Firefox, Flock... KeyScrambler Personal protects your keystrokes in Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Flock", but on another page it does mention Google Chrome. I should have read the page better.

The KeyScrambler web site says No annual renewal fees for the paid versions. :)

Edit in: I'm sorry. The more I look into the KeyScrambler site, I see there is grounds for confusion.
Although it clearly states "No annual renewal fees", it also states,
Q: Do I have to pay for KeyScrambler Pro or Premium every year, like with other security software?
A: No, you can use the version of KeyScrambler you purchase for as long as you like without having to pay again. You will receive free upgrades for at least one year.

So I guess they are saying you don't have to pay to renew but upgrades are free for one year.

I use OA Premium and SpyShelter Premium at the same time. Am I OK?

More than ok, OA has a verygood HIPS so probably you don't need SpyShelter but maybe Spyshelter is able to block a very few things more than OA.
The best companion for products like Comodo and OA are Prevx Safe Online Free or Tursteer rapport.

I'd be very surprised if that was the case. Last time OA was tested on Matousec it scored 100%, and it also passed all the Spyshelter tests last time I tested them. So I'm not sure how it could block more [especially as Spyshelter doesn't have any anti-executable capability??]
