SUPERAntiSpyware 5.0 Limited Public Pre-Release

Okay, but that seems odd. My recollection is that the 4.x versions had a right click context menu even when the program was closed. Maybe I'm wrong on that. Anybody know?

I checked a little deeper and it seems that SAS does the context menu without implementing a shell extension. A standard shell extension could provide a context menu even when SAS is closed. Personally, I'd much rather have the context menu available any time to check out questionable files.

That is by design - we may alter that in future builds.

 

We can do it with our existing system, this was done by design.

I have SuperAntispyware v5.0.1078 it works just ok, but the problem was when I try update online it seems that it couldn't finish downloading the definition updates. The circling whirling arrows in the globe image stops. And the database version was still the same.

How to fix this problem?

 

Why don't you upgrade to .1104? The link to download has been updated to .1104 if you can't get it via internal updater http://www.superantispyware.com/superantispyware5.html

What is the current pre-release...v5.0.1104 or v5.0.1106?

I have snapshots running 5.0.1104 and others running 5.0.1106.

The pre-release doesn't matter any more, you should be using the final release.

 

I assume that v5.0.1106 was released, briefly.

No worries...when the update for the final release comes through, I will update all snapshots.
