This is a known problem and will be solved when the official production version will be ready.

Do you have an official ESET link to this information?

Without that all we have in your post is a statement with no supporting data.

Go to My Computer, Right click device and select Eject.

I uninstalled v5 RC and installed v4 back. v5 was too buggy and slow for me.

    Thanks!

Without being picky, "they" said" next program build not production release unless these are one and the same.

currently we tested just two (the beta and RC) releases for reporting bugs.
ESET is aiming for a final release in August.

I am thinking there were only 2 public releases for v4 when it was released. Since it was mid June when the RC came out I am really not expecting another public build before the final.

I noticed this in v5 as well, nice to know it is a known issue that is being fixed for release.

Just figured Id throw this out there in case it isn't known, but in the official v4, if a USB drive is plugged in when the PC is off, and it boots up with it connected, the computer will also say the drive cant be safely removed due to a program accessing it. If you remove Nod32 that doesn't happen.

This also of course happens in v5, but It would of done that anyway. Just figured id mention it in case the problems aren't linked and that still exists in v5 even after the previously mentioned issue is fixed.
