CA's Internet Security Suite Free For Cablevision Customers

My Cable company is offering us this Suite for Free, see the link below...
Is this worth trying or would I be better off with MSE or Avast?

Free is not enough - charge them at least 100$ for using CA. Never do it for free

We have Time Warner here and they also offer CA Security Suite. I tried it out on my XP machine but I found it confusing and unorganized. It seems to break most websites and its hard to find the options for allowing certain sites. It also uses a lot more memory than say MSE,Avira or Avast.

Anyway I'm back on my Windows 7 machine using Avast I wanted to use MSE but kept seeing a lot of errors for it in the event viewer.

why would you want to use it when you can find free one's like Avast which does the job in a more better way.

I would agree. CA can Hotel California a PC. You can try to get it out but it never leaves.
