How to remove 88 Search Engines.

    Cleaning up a friends computer and could not get rid of 88 search engines in IE8. Will be attacking the problem tomorrow, and would appreciate any and all insights/opinions. So far, removed many toolbars from add/remove, and ran a quick scan with mbam and avast (was pressed for time today). XP, and google did not give me much. Thanks.

    Did you try with Hitman Pro? It usually fixes proxy infections etc.

    Shadek, will look into Hitman Pro. J_L, I believe I tried all those. I did not see it in the manage addons. However, I will take another look tomorrow. Thank you for the suggestions.
