Since the auto update to the latest version, the log is showing it hasn't synced with the servers since the 22nd. Normal o_O

No, not normal. Have you rebooted since the auto-upgrade? Please send me your exported event report.

Yes - did reboot upon request. However, after getting home from work today and firing up the rig, it finally synced so all seems well now i think. Thanks for asking PB!

Same here. I did notice two folders in C:\Windows\temp that are Panda related.
One from the 21st and one from today the 27th. the folders have different names but the contents are identical. There is also another folder\subfolder named "upgrades\solutions" that is empty.

My laptop updated last week without issue.

If you Panda Cloud Antivirus still hasn't upgraded to 1.5.1 please send me the contents of your %TEMP%\PSLogs directory in a ZIP.

thanks, I am back. There is so much crap out there in the AV product selection.. This is one of the few that actually gives you a fighting chance. I held out hopes for Norton 2012 and Bitdefender 2012 and both disappointed me. Panda and maybe 2 others are the only ones catching stuff in tests that even make a AV worthwhile anymore.

A few things I have noticed is that if my net goes down while loading a page and I hit refresh at times I will get the Panda Security Domain Adviser till I either waited for it to refresh or re-open my browser. I know its gotten a lot better recently with later build so I would make sure you have the latest build.

I noticed a lot of people seem to see it more often on FF. Do you use any other browsers where you see the same issue?

    Hi,
Is it possible to use it with NIS 2011? I am starting to like this product, after hearing so many great reviews here at wilders.

I wish to purchase the Pro version. Sorry, if anybody has asked this question before.

    Thanks,
    Ziaul

    Hi Trjam,
Can you please tell me what are the other two AVs? I am really interested to know.

Like you I buy lot of AV licenses from different vendors. But unfortunately I don't have the time to play around with them. Maybe due to lack of time or I am too lazy to do it.

I have like around 10 NIS license, 3 ESET license, 3 KIS license and 1 Avast license with me, all multiple users. Even though, I have 1 laptop in my house. I was on the verge of buying BitDefender because of the ongoing promotion, but at the last moment I bailed out. I have seen lot of problems with BitDefender, so I am not at all interested.

Don't mean to offend any BitDefender users, but I have seen lot of problems and don't wish to use it. Currently I am using NIS 2011 on my laptop along with Sandboxie paid and don't have any problems. When Prevx comes out of beta, I will surely buy some licenses for it to.

I like to keep it light, even though I have 8gb of ram. Don't like it at all, if my laptop becomes slow.

    Thanks,
    Ziaul

It is not recommended to run with another AV due to the fact Panda cloud is a full av. Running with another AV may cause conflicts.

    Hi Ibrad,
Thank you for the fast reply, but I am still going to buy it. I will use it when it comes out with the firewall module. Also, where am I going to get such good support.

    Thanks,
    Ziaul

Then what in -insert random deity- name, is the use of having those licenses lying around?
You polish them from time to time and then what?

I'll make an assumption that several of these unused licenses are from older versions the person never got around to using. Otherwise...I have nothing I can say here, lol.

On the contrary I don't polish them, but give it out to friends and family members. And these licenses are all from the latest version. Usually I buy them when there is a promotion going on.

Also I don't change my AV frequently. Only if it feels right on my laptop and doesn't slow it down, then only I buy it. I just don't change my AV if it's doing well in a particular test. I kept on using KIS for 3years, I changed recently to NIS.

    Thanks,
    Ziaul

Well I did experience this many times when testing back and forth as a new version came along, so I know what clocks means.

clocks meant some more I/O improvements.
Yes currently we can not experience any negative I/O problems BUT Panda is improving it more further to make it much much more lighter on Disk I/O
