I use an older version of KMPlayer. Plays everything with no headaches.
Probably, in the future, I ll move to The PotPlayer but not yet.
If anybody has a link for The PotPlayer user guide, I ll appreciate it.

Now I'm using the official Media Player Classic Home Cinema. Works great and has the absolutely lowest footprint.

WMP 11 plays everything I want to play and has a nice, easy-to-use GUI. I used to use Winamp, but the latest versions of WMP have been so good I haven't bothered to download an alternative.

Thanks for the links. I had been to one of them before, neither site has a
user guide available. I tried PotPlayer and it does not come near KMP in
my opinion. I like to take a look at a manual to see if I missed something
when I tried it, I believe PP is missing many of the features that are
    available in KMP.

It is because PotPlayer is still in Beta and has no final release version.
KMP is a final stable release version. Final releases are usually better to use than Beta releases. I usually wait for a final releases.

    Thanks.:D

Hey Lttlebits, its gonna be hard for me to move away from the old version
of KMP that I am using. I know PotPlayer is on Beta but I never been able
to find a downloadable user guide for KMP neither. I dont think the guys
that develop this players have ever released one.

I use PotPlayer. Easier to get dxva acceleration than with most players. It only has an issue when subs are animated but I supose it will be resolved soon.

Has anyone used Ashampoo Photo Commander to play videos? I started using it as it was suggested by someone and I have not went back to another player since then. AS for videos and photos for me. For music I use 1by1 and foobar.

    Video

MPUI (MPlayer), for all video format, its open source.

Ability: rotate, mirror, responsive, lite, slow-motion/fast-foward very smooth.

    Audio

Foobar, for exploring audio only with windows explorer.

Ability: quick play, lite, nice looking.

Winamp, for streaming AAC+ via bookmark, and listening all local audio.

Ability: bookmark favorite shoutcast, fast access bookmark via right click (no need main skin or playlist), just press hotkey to play, DSP, support 24 Bits playback

I voted both Media Player Classic & Foobar. They are very configurable & have never let me down. Using FFDShow & Haali Media Splitter with optional Real Alternative & QT Lite will provide you with superior viewing & sound system.

    If you compare with MPUI.
Media Player Classic is heavy and slow load, can't rotate/mirror the video, and bad slowmotion.
