There seems to be a problem with showing the "blocked" webpage. But the malicious links seem to be blocked anyway. I will check it out on our end.

Yes, confirmed, its the "blocked" webpage that is down. But the malicious links are still stopped even though the "blocked" page is not showing.

I use the same FF 5.01 and IE 9 thahat makes Webrep work well and install without problem. I have the McAfee tool bar in my IE 9 32 bits browser and I deactivated the Bing bar. Just wish the install would be without complications.

Could Panda Cloud be called by Internet Download manager to scan a download after completiono_O If so, could you tell me the command line parameter to input into IDM??

Panda Cloud automatically scans downloads once they touch your PC.

It's more experimenting than importance to me but i see no evidence that downloads have been scanned. Is there scan logs somewhere?

No. If the file isn't infected, it will not alert you with a popup. However, if needed, you can download the eicar test file and see how quickly Panda Cloud responds.

You can go to advanced configuration options and activate advanced logging to see the files scanned, the type of scan and the analysis result.

Sorry to burst your bubble people but this cloud antivirus is not so good for zero day malware... whoever thinks this is actually a good method of detecting zero day Malware needs to have there head examined ... furthermore do not flame me please, i can easily give you 15 undetected stubs that bypass this anti virus via scantime and runtime using a basic injection method and a custom PE ...

nice site by the way... ;)

    A few off-topic posts removed.

This is simply a thread announcing a recent Panda release. Posts about the other products people use really don't belong here.

    Thanks.

I'd be interested in taking a look at these. Can you PM me a link to download the samples please?
Also, did you create these or find them somewhere?

They are fully coded in c# by me no dependencies required like .NET Framework, so they inject fast and spread via lan, p2p and usb...

I can give you the samples for you to analyze :)

ill message you once i am home.

The Pro version "Automatic upgrades to new product features (firewall, etc.) as soon as they are released".
I wonder if this wouldn't be problematic. For example what if the new features are buggy or you already have a firewall installed? I have to admit I'm used to getting a new version of my Av every year with the improvements and new features incorporated.

Yes you're right. We have to think about this possible scenario. Thanks :thumb:

Panda Cloud scans on-access like most other anti-virus, that means every uncached file created, read, or written.

I would appreciate more information about the licence - at least how long the activation code will be valid :doubt:

For example: Valid until 19/10/2011 or 92 days left :)

Thank you - but it should be available in the Panda Cloud GUI as well :doubt:

Not really as we plan to expand this functionality to cover multiple licenses and expiration dates, multiple PCs, etc. So the web approach is more convenient taking into consideration a future cloud-based management.

Will the cloud product be appearing in the Panda comparison table at any point?

My question was in reference to this thread - https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=303540

At the completion of the download, IDM successfully can call up hitman pro for an on demand scan of the completed download. With PCAV, nothing happens. While this is not important to me, some may wish PCAV to do this.

This is not true. PCAV does scan the files upon download (write/read of file to the file system). To be able to "see" it scanning the downloaded files you simply need to activate advanced logging as I mentioned above.

Still haven't received anything. You must be in the middle of some serious party if you haven't gotten home yet ;)
