This product, may or may not be getting better, however, if your an Australian (or reside there like what I do,) then this product will empty your wallet :doubt: These prices are just too ridiculous for question, and is best avoided until they lower their high price products. see here: http://shop.trendmicro.com.au/titanium-maximum-security-new-AU.asp As for premium support, I cant comment as I dont know what their standard support is like, and if it's worth purchasing

That does seem awfully expensive. You might be better off to try something like Amazon or New Egg.

Retail prices of some AVs today are ridiculous; particularly when compared to some of the free opposition.

If you cannot find much cheaper deals on amazon.au or ebay Australia then walk away.

Some better offers from the Land down under!

Welcome to the wonderful world of Aussie software pricing. AU dollar currently worth $1.06 USD and we pay through the nose for everything. Best bet is eBay as suggested or using Staticice (Google it) to find bargains.

As a long time KIS user, eBay is now the first port of call for my re-subscription needs :D I've been using eBay to buy KIS for 3 years and buying from reputable resellers (i.e. those with a 99+% rating) who'll only ship physical CD's and I've never had a licence issue.

    Cheers.

DVD if you go to office works I think its 'only' about $100. I don't like paying more than $30 for any type of yearly subscription. Paying $129.95 for one year is ridiculous o_O.

I'm Australian and find the best deals on Ebay since they generally get volume purchase discounts and pass it onto customers.

yes, and paid antivirus software is also much cheaper than those in other countries.
TMS 3yrs-3PCs boxed version is available for 319 RMB (about 49 USD) on Trend Micro China official site, and even 129 RMB (19 USD) on B2C portals

That sucks but seems to be the norm for many who buy from eBay. Did you buy just the key or a CD with the key inside the packaging? I've always bought unopened physical media.

What's this about legal threats? Shameful response from KL AU. Surely KL would be better off chasing the pirates and not a legit user reporting an issue.

Good luck with your software search, don't forget to try staticice too.

    Cheers.

Just tried this, and struck out.

    Strike 1 - Used 80-130meg or ram
Strike 2 - Let my VM get infected in a test of 20 links
Strike 3 - Malwarebytes found the infections, but Trend shut MBAM down (as an FP) before it could disinfect the pc.

I have seen worse, but I will stick to other options at the moment.

Removed Off Topic Post. Let's continue with Trend Micro and not go in the direction of an A vs. B discussion. Thanks!

It lets you use the software free for a year legitimately. The user then has the option of swapping Trend Micro's 'current' language from Chinese to English using the configuration file.

Might give it a shot sometime if Trend gets better results in upcoming tests.

Nothing against TM's product but having just paid ~AUD30 to add another year to my 3 PC 'avast! Internet Security' license (USD69.95 - Wilders Discount 55% = USD31.50) it looks a lot like 'Titanium' at platinum prices!

Just saw this posted on another site:

"newegg offers Trend Micro Titanium Internet Security 2011 3-User for Windows for $55. This $55 mail-in rebate knocks it to $0. With free shipping, that ties our Black Friday mention and is $10 under the lowest price we could find elsewhere. Rebate expires July 20."
