Soon after installing Sandboxie, it became clear to me that it was my most important security program.
The others will change from time to time, but Sandboxie is the anchor.
    :)

Sandboxie's a powerful program. Sandboxing in general has been proven to really increase application security. IT would be great for Windows to implement some OS level sandboxing.

Yeah I agree sandboxie is awesome..but I still think there's need of phishing protection while entering sensitive information while browsing

Anti-phishing measures definitely need to be taken into account.
If a separate Sandboxie shopping/banking sandbox is configured to allow only Chrome to have internet and start/run access, and the sandbox is open only as long as needed for the shopping/banking session, and Chrome has phishing and malware protection built in, and resident AV software can reach inside the sandbox if need be, and the sandbox is further configured with Drop Rights plus auto secure deletion upon close, plus Norton DNS or Comodo Secure DNS is in place... I'm feeling reasonably good about the degree of risk present. :)

Not using TrafficLight. Should I be? I don't know much about it. Do you use it?
Edit in: Does it slow down the browser experience?

I like Norton DNS.... which is to say I have no complaints, and I believe it is a viable added layer. Since ClearCloud went bye-bye I have primarily switched back and forth between Norton and Comodo. :)

Mamutu is light as hell. Definitely makes me feel more secure. At this point the only program I want is sandboxie pro but I don't want to pay for security software

CIS 6 should have more advanced sandboxing so hopefully that satisfies my needs

otherwise, my security setup is feeling very "complete" if even possible

I don't even believe in 3rd party security software. It's a shame that I have to resort to it in order to feel safe on Windows.

I use it, works very well against actively malicious sites.
Barely noticeable for the browser extensions.

If I'm the only one using my computer... Sandboxie FREE alone is enough security for me :D

I'm going with the pure Emsisoft layered approach.

    1) Ikarus and Emsisoft (EAM) engines on execution and scan when new files are created
    2) Behavior blocker (Mamutu inside EAM) in case malware gets through.
    3) Online Armor to have complete control of keyloggers and HIPS (it has cloud-based decisions of a list of trusted applications so not many pop-ups)
    4) Hitman Pro
    5) Shadow Defender when testing new software which I'm not sure I'll keep for long.

I like my 'lean and mean setup'. Maybe I'll try out eset smart security to make the setup 'leaner and meaner'. ;)
