    Yes indeed, I have stabilized recently and stayed with Panda Cloud for about a month now. When SecureAnywhere aka Prevx goes public Beta I may spiral out of control again...:doubt: :eek: :rolleyes: :D

    Eicar.txt (or for that matter eicar.exe, eicar.bla, etc) is not the official eicar test file. Its eicar.COM.

    New version 1.5.1 is now out at cloudantivirus.com right ??
    When will the autofix get pushed ??
    Else shall i download 1.5.1 from cloudantivirus.com and install it over 1.5.0 or will i need to uninstall 1.5.0 first ??

    @Dark Lord
    The installer currently offered is indeed 1.5.1. As far I understood the rolling out process you should receive it between now and seven days.

    someone could explain in simple words please the real difference between the Cloud version and the normal Panda antivirus? If i use Cloud pro am i supposed to be just as protected as with the normal AV?

    @gery normal Panda AV download definition updates regularly so it gives better protection than cloud version when offline. But even normal Panda AV advises the user to be online when scanning to detect latest threats. When internet connection is available normal Panda AV connects to its online database while scanning just like the cloud version.

    Well PCAV also has Offline Cache which syncs with the server every time connected to the internet. You can check the events report and also inside the cache folder in Panda Security folder.

    Anyway, I installed after uninstalling & rebooting the newest version of the Panda Toolbar and the URL web filter beta in their support forum but it seems the link above doesn't work for IE9 or FF6 beta1 on Win 7 SP1. Should work on IE9, no. I have ZoneAlarm FREE and disabled their toolbar leaving the Zone Alarm Engine add-on enabled. Also, I have norton DNS, and PrevX 3.0 free. Also, my first scan with PCAV free was more than 3 hours long for 42 GB used of a 1 Torr HD (I uninstalled Comodo AV+FW prior to install PCAV from ADD-REMOVE and it doesn't seem to be there:reason I scraped COMODO was it was interfering seriously with latest Windows Updates critical).

    I think the URL filter in Panda Cloud is DNS based although it does not change DNS servers settings in PC. Norton DNS may be interfering with the URL filter. Last time I tried it conflicted with open dns which I was using at that time. You can try the URL filter after removing Norton DNS, flushing the DNS cache and restarting your system.

    Ok. I've tested the PCAV Real-Time protection with Eicar.com & I am impressed. Now, what's better, to have Norton DNS or Panda URL web filter? The latter is just for phishing sites. I'd rather stay with Norton DNS and uninstall the Panda toolbar and URL web filter then. What do you think?

    The Panda URL Filter is not just for phishing sites. It also blocks malware sites (exploits, drive by downloads, etc).

    Streaming video has always worked fine for me. I'm not sure about online gaming.

    There's no compatibility issues, so why not keep both?

    I would but the Panda URL web filter is not working on my Win 7 SP1 64 bits machine. Avast WebRep installed like a charm, no problem. I also couldn't work the Avira Personal Ask tool bar with their Webguard. Had to go Avast. I'm of course frustated because Panda has greater detection but I can't live without a web filter surfing that won't alter my web speed.

    What are the symptoms? Browser version? Addons? Other security software?
    This is indicative there might be a different problem in your machine.
