Oh well, I guess nobody else knows the answer either. I suppose I'll just wait on the official US release...

You will be able to install a trial- can you see the installer in the link I posted in first post (you could be redirected to different servers based on your location hence the possibility that you don't see them)?
As for purchasing, you should be able to buy 2011 now from US site and upgrade to/use license on 2012 either immediately or when it's released in the US. Have in mind that if you have problems with licensing (you aren't allowed to activate 2012 with 2011 key) Official support won't be able to help you until it's officially released in the US.
I'm not entirely certain when it will be released in the US; UK release is end of this month (if not already), Russia is ~August and US is probably somewhere in between.

No I did not receive a crash message.
    Yes all protection was disabled.
I am away from my desktop until this weekend so cannot test it atm. I will try and do it when I get back.
I never did contact Kaspersky about it as I do not visit java applet websites much at all so was not a huge issue.

It is still in testing. There have been problems with the updated Firefox plugins being updated correctly and more recently there have been issues for some with the license breaking and being unable to activate. I'm sure they will get it sorted out soon.

Wow KIS 2012 maxed out slow downs PC a LOT, specially when doing a CCleaner scan
With it maxed out it's taking like 1-2 minutes before it was just 10-15 seconds :D
I know it's because its maxed :argh:

KIS doesn't allow its files to be defragged. This may slowdown the system over time. We have to disable KIS self defense and then defrag and re-enable it.

Defrag of so few files and of such small size is not going to make much of a difference at all.

Files used by antivirus are frequently accessed by the program and the av is loaded at startup. So defragging them may improve performance but I agree that the performance gain may not be apparent for many.

For those who have a license, are the pop-ups still that big without the trial license notice, or are they smaller?

They're smaller. The trial license notice is removed entirely, including the space.

KIS's firewall can be set to warn you for every program that access the network?

Yes, every program in trusted group gets network access by default, but you can set the permission for the whole trusted group to Ask in the settings.

Thanks, what is the changelog? I saw one in the beta topic, but that was an outdated one from an older version of the B patch.
