Your list is incredible. I wonder, do you have a time for anything else than security? :)

Plenty of time, my security doesn't bother me until a threat is present. When on-demand scanning, or backing up, I can leave those to the background and focus on something else.

About COMODO IS, do you use the AV as well or only the FW to save on the overhead?

No AV. Firewall and Defense+ only.

And the reason is because the AV is kinda useless to me and it would bump resources to 10x what they are now.

I understand your reasoning exactly, I have the same approach now to keep swapping at a minimum and responsieveness at max. Thanks

Mhm, AV's use a lot of disk io and usually at least 60MB of RAM. Now, I have 4GB of RAM and a nice hard drive... but I don't need to throw it away at useless security measures.

Exactly, I dunno if you're a gamer, but I'm a hardcore one, so I need the system optimized at all times, lol. :p

Mhm, I am. And even if I weren't I don't like spending useless resources.

An antivirus doesn't provide anything for my system. If Comodo randomly says "blahblah.exe was sandboxed" I know that I didn't start any blahblah.exe and I can go ahead and delete it manually.

    You mean ESET?

What kinda resources does it use? Screeny of task manager with disk io etc? Curious.

ESET you mean? I mean specific IO/ memory/ CPU usage.

ESET's memory usage is fairly high, however it's disk usage is extremely low, CPU usage is really low; in brief it is just really unobtrusive.
