Recently, I tested Panda Cloud AV. Not sure about its effectiveness in detecting and removing malware, but in terms of resource usage and usability, it's a champion, side by side with Microsoft Security Essentials.

In terms of effectiveness in detecting and removing malware, Symantec, F-Secure, G-Data, Avira and Kaspersky products are certainly in the top.

    BTW, I use none.

Only on-demand scanners here (Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, Hitman Pro, Norton Power Eraser, Kaspersky AVP Tool...)

AMs are AVs? Anyhow, I've voted my real-time programs, although I have much more on-demand.

Interesting to see Avira usage plummet after their recent controversial changes.

After a couple of months deciding, I have changed to Avast! after six years with my old solution, had it on gaming pc for 3 months no problems at all and very light. Most importantly no firewall issues.

It's pretty far from second place now (when I posted, there were only 2 votes for it).
