Loved this one in my Windows days. PDFCreator
Many useful features like merge pdf's.

    Re: PDF Printers - Comparison

Nice comparison but he doesn't test the quality of the output. Having said that, I was using dopdf but based on this comparison I tried print2pdf and am now using that. Both print2pdf and dopdf produce the best output of all the pdf printers I tried.

Print2PDF is my choice and besides the quality of the output it has several useful features. In particular to attach files that isn't usual in pdf printers. Thus I don't need to use the PDF Toolkit (pdftk)...

Thanks. Interesting. Brief but in-depth analysis is lacking. As InfinityAz mentioned, the output wasn't evaluated. Scores were given but seem kind of arbitrary.

    Besides, no doPDF...?

    Cheers.

Due to minimalistic tendencies I suffer from (:D ) , priPrinter (printing software with PDF-printing capabilities) + Web2PDF (online PDF-printing) + InfixPro (PDF-editor,using it without it´s pdf-printer) is my favourite trio . Tried almost everything else, and Adobe´s just to big for my needs.

Wow. I've installed that on a lot of machines, and never had it ask for the toolbar. I must have an older version prior to that. Too bad, yet another good piece of software tainted by that crap.

Filesize is just the tip of the iceberg, when your documents involve non-English characters/scripts and complex layouts, that's where the fun begin...

    Cheers.
