    .NET?
So they prefer fastest development but a low performance final product ? Ha

    I disagree a little.They somehow finish them.

This BD 2012 will exit beta next year .They get them out with one year before they are final ,to make the beta test properly.

Keep in mind that they ve released the Free AV with real time protection and this may help them in the future though.

But .Net will surely be a software requirement in the final product as well.

Do they have an official beta forum where you have the chance to win a free license? Thanks

Testing this, it's definitely the most best-looking interface out there, like already mentioned, but it definitely made my system go down to a crawl before caching my files AND I couldn't browse properly, streaming videos couldn't even load. Sorry but that does it for me, won't test until they release the next-year's version. :doubt:

They don't fix bugs - but they create a new GUI every year :D

For those who complain about BitDefender system slow down or other issues you better help them finding bugs ! I'm sure that if we help them they will make a good product again, like Norton did. I tried the beta 2, I don't know if it's me but on my laptop (Dual-Core Turion 2.2 Ghz, 4GB DDR2, Windows 7 SP1) the cooler is working hard with the suite installed. I don't see any CPU "hard-work" only a little too much memory ussage.

There have been bugs in their software for a few years now. They haven't been able to squash enough of them. It's the same with every new release. They redesign the GUI and some features but there are always bugs. It's a shame. Their anti-malware engine is great.

I really like Bitdefender. It has great detection. Their anti-malware engine is top notch. It's the buggy code surrounding the engine that is the problem.

I really hope they turn things around. I think in order to do so, they will have to rewrite their software from scratch to get rid of the buggy code. Like Norton did. Norton started from scratch. I don't know if Bitdefender has the resources to start from scratch like Norton.
