Does ESET have compatability issues with truecrypt?

    Im encrypted an external HDD with truecrypt, and sometimes while mounting the drive, i get an immediate BSOD after entering the password.

    And when i tried to do a smart scan with the drive mounted, ESET just hangs and doesnt even scan a single file. I tried to stop the scan, and now its stuck on "waiting to complete scan...". Is there any way to "un-hang" ESET without restarting my PC? ESET won't let me end the process via task manager.

    There's an ongoing discussion on this topic here. It seems that the latest drivers are promissing and will most likely fix issues with certain backup software.

    Where can i get the latest drivers?

    Also my eset RIGHT NOW is still stuck on "waiting to complete scan...". What can i do to unstuck it?

    Curious to know what your scan log shows. Does it show anything that resembles a point that scan is hanging on?

    Stuck at 68% and i cant end the scan. I cant restart ESET manually either since it refuses to let me end the process.
