When or will there be, a beta for the Internet Security Suite.

You are bored of the tune up, online back up and file encryption features?

But I don't think so, I think they are following the approach: if the total security suite is bug free and ready for release, all products with less features (so less chance to have bugs or problems) will also be ready for release.

yeah, the only thing they have to do is to strip down total security's feature to make the antivirus and the internet security

Thanks for info :) BitDefender 2012 looks promising. I hope it will be lightweight and nearly bug free.

we have a slow connection here in the phil. so we can easily notice if a AV slowed down our net or not.

Nah.. Tested and after 2 min use uninstalled.. Some how did not like it at all and had to uninstall malwarebytes free version before install this beta. :doubt:

Phil? As in Philly? Get a rope.....and send Cliff Lee back to us! Just kidding....I appreciate your BD comments as that was my first AV when I started looking at security. I am impressed with some of the comments about the new beta and very interested.

I wondered the same thing. I was only using the free version which only does on-demand.o_O

Since I never use it I went ahead and uninstalled it.

same reason Kaspersky wants even remnants of other products removed before install. Those forgotten registry keys can play havoc on other software.

If it wants to remove other av that i understand but why mbam...i had the free version not the paid..it wouldnt have caused havoc with bitdefender

Champ, it also allows you to skip that option, unlike some.

I don't know, is it something wrong with it?

    I just don't got it installed that's all :).

But why would I need to have .Net installed to have a working security software?
It's just that I am not a big fan of software that has a list of software requirements to work OK.

Agree with many posters before - the most good-looking and simplistic GUI I have ever seen. I'm COMPLETELY blown away. That/those designer(s) should get a serious raise. I will test it out for this reason alone, yet it's proven very effective even in independent testing.

I've always liked their GUI's but was wary of the buggy software reports and reports of system drag in the past.
