I do not like the UI color scheme. A combination between red and white or a very light gray would have been nice.

    Thanks.

I think everyone can test this Build, license is not necessary...
BitDefender doesn't eat RAM, and it's not so heavy... The problem with BD is bugs and it has to be installed on a clean system without an antecedent Antivirus installation...
With my little experience, the 2010 is the most successful version.
We hope that BD can give us a good version of 2012..

I predicted :) that 2012 would be a complete overhaul and it is. I am testing this product and it is exactly what Bitdefender needed to do to rise back to the top.

Kudos to Bitdfender on finally, listening.:thumb: :thumb:

wrong again. This is one of the most bug free betas I have tried in awhile. This is totally different for Bitdefender. It is about time they quit letting everyone else reap the rewards of their AV engine and created a Gui that is worthy of the AV product.

They appear to have accomplished it.

give it a try. There are a couple of things still not working correctly but nothing that casts a shadow over it. Funny thing, it uses less memory then some AV products by themselves.

they need to get the toolbar for BD 2012 working with IE9. I want to try the virtualized browser ot. That is my only gripe right now.

Just installed it. Meh, very slow and has slowed down my system a lot. Reboot did not even fix it.

Going to try Panda 1.9 beta and see how that goes. If not, back to Avast.

That is the sexiest GUI I have seen. Their engine is also supposed to be good right? They usually do well on AV Comparatives.

Also, how is it on system performance? I may want to try this on my VM.

Lastly, are they releasing an updated free version with realtime and in English?
