Prevx 3 with SafeOnline still works fine and we are well protected! Patience is the level of endurance one's character can take before negativity! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Patience

Well they say advertising works, & that even bad publicity is good publicity :D

So who's benefiting from ALL the speculation, err one guess :D

i have noticed a few threads where joe's answer is 'this wont happen in prevx 4' this will be fixed in prevx 4'.

and triple helix is saying that everything is fine, 2 contradictions if you ask me. anyway i have switched as i will not give up my portal to the interwebs (firefox 4) just for a security program.

And I will not give up the security of my banking data just for a browser. Horses for courses.

And Firefox 3.6 works fine and is still fully supported.

Same here, long term supporter of Prevx but the wait has just been too long. The web browser is one of the main applications on any PC and users should be able to upgrade when new versions are released.

I am curious to know how many paid users of Safeonline have updated to Firefox 4 since it was officially released ?

Exactly the same here. Have removed prevx due to no support for FFox4. To be honest I feel the lack of any information from Prevx to when it will be supported via Prevx4 is not at all fair to its existing customers.

I updated to Firefox 4 just as my paid subscription to Prevx 3.0 + SafeOnline was coming up for renewal. I opted to renew Prevx 3.0 without SafeOnline, and switched to Trusteer Rapport for browser protection which, unlike SafeOnline, does work with Firefox 4.

Thanks for the tip, I`ll have a look at Rapport today as I`ve been without safeonline for about 2 months (I think it is) now since FF4 was officially released.

I`ve still got 174 days left on my Prevx license, so not prepared to dump it just yet.

Just use a supported Browser as I keep Opera 10.63 and will wait to upgrade to v11 when the Prevx 4 beta comes out! I use IE9 and FF4 but not for banking or purchases I use Opera, just my opinion and nothing more! http://www.opera.com/browser/download/?ver=10.63

I'm using Firefox 4 but installed Keyscrambler Personal as an extra layer and OA Premium protects against keyloggers. it's a good stop gap til the notorious version 4 appears...:)

Indeed, but does it work with all the most popular browsers?

See post #620! We the one's at security sites always upgrade to the latest of what ever software but you are still well protected with supported browsers and the Anti-Malware component has not changed and we are well protected! It's the user's choice to upgrade to the unsupported Browsers to not have SafeOnline's full benefit. Prevx has there reasons that the Beta is not released at this point! The Beta will be released when Prevx says when it is ready and we have been told that the newer Browsers are already supported in the Beta! PrevxHelp said:
To me this thread has lost it's usefulness along time ago P4 Beta will be release when it is ready that's it!

    Just a thought :)

Could you use a non performing browser with Prevx in "Compatability Mode" for another OS, or is that a no go ?

After being a firefox user for many years and went w/the 4.0 version until just recently. Was very pleased w/the noticeable increase speed. However, quite by accident I discovered the Google Chrome browser and was absolutely impressed by the additional speed over FF 4! More and more began to learn the tricks of using it to suit my needs. An added plus was the fact that my prevx tab was green again! Guess I don't have to say that Chrome is now my default browser! Best speed I've seen AND Prevx tab is GREEN! :thumb: Just my nickel's worth.....
