The 5th of May looks like a nice date to release the beta of the 5th generation of ESET for Windows. Certainly since most vendors wouldn't release a beta version on the last day before the weekend.

 

It's a chance that we will know very soon

 

Ok, it is evident they have been loading the servers up, plus Marcos slipped yesterday with the FTP comment, so, I would say actually based on time of day worldwide that it may happen in the next 2 hours.

What is funny is, if you remember version 4 and the release it was not by Eset but a member, I wont say hacking, but they got creative and found the download link and Wilders busted it loose after that.

Any way, Cheers to Eset and as a 4 user license holder, I have your snapshot awaiting.

 

Not an eset fan but this version looks good...and the eset page has been redesigned for the new release

What is the probability that issue today

 

The probability that it will be released today is 100% in my eyes.
The only thing I am not sure about is the time, I am not really sure what timezone they are considering as ESET's default, Slovakia's or California's,

 

they wont do it until the San Diego CA offices are open.

 

When do they open? 9.00 am CA time?
