This is correct - Chrome is indeed still protected even though the tab may not show all the time (due to graphical implementation difficulties).

No it doesn't - those are both not completely supported at the moment.

This is the first time in 13/14 years I have ever had a problem with Opera and it would seem that Opera.dll in 11.01 has rendered my browser completely useless through a false positive from Prevx.

There is a thread here which has already been closed:

    https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?p=1823674

I do know of several others who are also experiencing the same. I've re-installed it with still the same issue.

Interestingly this is on my work Vista PC, my Win7 laptops are unaffected as yet and I haven't tried it out on a new Win7 PC as yet.

Do I have to assume it's totally broken and unrepairable?

Further to my previous post, problem solved, I've disabled Prevx!

If you could please send a scan log to report@prevxresearch.com by clicking Tools - Save Scan Results, we should be able to correct the issue from there.

    Thank you :)

Prevx refuses to start with Windows, no matter what.

I have to manually run it, and it starts with its protection always disabled -- have to click on "enable monitoring" every single time.

How can I force it to start with Windows?

Could you try uninstalling and reinstalling from an administrative account and select the option to install with a randomized filename pre-install? It's possible that the Prevx components were not properly installed or that malware blocked part of the installation.

    Thanks!

    Issue with tray icon

    Hello

I detected that in my system (windows 7 32 bits) where I have two accounts with administrative rights when I log off from the active account and log on the other account the icon doesn't show up in the tray.

Switching accounts the tray icon shows correctly.

    What can be done here?

I only have the Agnitum firewall along with Prevx.

Could you let me know if you still see two prevx.exe processes loaded in Task Manager, one under SYSTEM and one under the user account you're currently logged into? It may be that the tray icon is being loaded before the user account starts up.

    Thank you!

Today I was unable to reproduce the issue. Whenever I log off and on the tray icon reapears.

In fact I see two processes (one in system and the other in the user's account).

    Hi

I have Prevx SOL (facebook), yesterday i installed IE9 and removed the status bar, usally when i place the cursor over a link a small tag appears in the left-bottom corner showing the URL but with SOL turn on, it pops up less than a second.

It is just me or a bug?

IE9 is not fully supported by PSO but will be when Prevx 4 is released! https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showpost.php?p=1827267&postcount=4

So I installed F-secure secuirty suite and Prevx keeps trying to block parts of the software. When I removed Prevx suggested by prevx support than ran a scan the computer is running faster.
