Agreed. I would much rather a backlit keyboard. But for the price $999 CDN vs $1149 for the pro so I am going for the air ;)

I wish there was a good free AV like AVAST! For Mac. I hate paying subscription fees :/

Well, after entering the Mac world, I realized there are much less good freebies for all types of programs, more so in AVs. Sophos is the best free AV for Mac at this point. From what I have heard, avast! is planning to come out with a free AV for Mac. Not sure when is that gonna happen. I will wait another month till my trial for ESET runs out.

I own a couple MBAM Pro licenses, and loved running it real-time, until I began to notice performance impacts. Also, like you, I began to realize that my other security apps were sufficient. So I stopped running it on-access but kept it as a scheduled scanner. Once a day (at 3:15 a.m.) I update MBAM, then once a day (at 3:30 a.m.) I run a scheduled quick scan. It's been a great, trouble-free routine for me... always runs and never forgets what it's doing. :)

Went back to Prevx 3 with my trusty Online Armor Premium. I added Keyscrambler personal as additional cover til Prevx 4 comes out with compatibility for Firefox 4 and SafeOnline...

How else are you going to know you're infected?

The rules have changed. It's no longer the "awful dangerous websites" that are serving up the majority of the malware.

Thanks for the tip :thumb: I am going to run ESET for the month and than switch to sophos at least until Avast comes out. ESET is running great on XUbuntu so far so that's a good sign ;)
That is awesome! I long for that day and I don't even own a Mac yet! (Can't wait till next Friday!)

    I see.

I would still have taken the MBP though, it's so much more powerful.
Plus the Air doesn't have the new Thunderbolt port.

But still, you got a Mac soon lucky Boy

This quote reminds me of the text that was displayed at the end of Looney Tunes cartoon show I used to watch as a kid. Of course, they came back with the next clip right after the first one ended.:D

You sound as if you were expecting him to give birth to some crazy mutation of Avira and Prevx.

You're as protected as can be. Remember, if you change your setup now, you're going to buy 10 users here at Wilders licenses. ;)

Even if trjam changes his setup, I wonder if he'll post about it.
