I want to go on record as saying I have great faith in you, Jeff.
Please remember that fact, if by some chance you find yourself trying to decide which 10 members you are going to select.

lol! Ever since I joined this place, I have enjoyed the attention trjam gets and all that stuff. Its fun to watch. :argh:

Good luck with that. You might want to place some limits, that way you don't end up paying for a $50 for a single member. lol Just my opinion. ;)

I went through a time in my life where I took control over everything my machine did (or tried my hardest to do so). I eventually came to a point where I said to myself "this is ridiculous" and quit all the testing. I believe you can do the same thing.

For me it wound up that how I do things never changes in a large scope, but it does leave me plenty of wiggle room to try new approaches to how I like to do things, or sometimes find new tools that really complement what I do. That to me is the fun part now, not trying every different software etc, but understanding better what I do, and finding ways to improve upon that.

Good luck with this endeavor. I sincerely wish you find that golden scheme that works for you.

    Sul.

trjam, please remember that I have always said that you are an exceptional judge of long-lasting software, and I am sure that your next choice will be ideal for as long as you want it.

Which I am sure will be for at least a week. Put me down for the Hitman/Prevx bundle. Thank you. ;)

But I am one to talk. I just put MBAM back to on-demand and removed Mamutu and SAS. Installed Privatefirewall and Prevx SOL.

Kaspersky and BitDefender for Mac suck. Dr. Web and Sophos are Ok. ESET CyberSecurity for Mac rocks.

    Just a few thoughts.....

Kaspersky have keep adding feature after feature to their Mac version, so no surprise it isn't good anymore.:thumbd:

Too bad for BitDefender, though it sounds pretty much as their Win version, heavy.

Regarding Dr.Web and Sophos I have read here and there that they can be a little sluggish, especially Dr.Web seem to be quite heavy.

ESET is ESET nothing more to say  :thumb:

My only concern is the fact that if a new program version is out, the program itself does not notify the user. I need to keep track of the forum announcements to figure that out.

You have inside information that the beta for Prevx 4 will be released on Monday?
