    My client did not auto update, nor was there an option to do so when I manually selected to check for updates.

    Is there a direct download to the 5.0 version or do I just have to wait for a bit?

    You have to be running the 5.0 pre-release for updates to the pre-release - if you are running 4.x you won't receive an update until the office 5.0 is release (we will have another 4.51 before 5.0).

    I pounded mine over the top..some will say a clean install
    is good but I have had no issues

    Version 5 is looking great. The only obvious thing that stands out at me was that I entered my license and the start menu shortcut still says "SUPERAntiSpyware Free Edition".

    Just means the Subscription is active! That's why I had to activate mine as is was a clean Windows 7 x64 install I did 2 days ago! ;)
