They still make false claims about being the first fully functional free version of an internet security site. That's ignoring Comodo and FortiClient, which were clearly released before it.

I hope your joking, because the AV does work, otherwise it wouldn't be detecting threats.

Is there a standalone version for Outpost AV? I like it :)

No, I am not joking at all... There is a good reason why they don't offer that placebo as a standalone product.

Thank you hayc59, the last release didn't work on my PC, I'm going to give this one another go :)

The Antivirus component in COMODO IS does work ('work' as in 'function'). But COMODO isn't the topic here, the release of Outpost Free is, and we all know how most COMODO threads end.

Prove that it doesn't work. Showing that it doesn't work well is a different story.

Outpost Security Suite FREE v.7.1.1 Released

J_L, as you can obviously read..I hope!
This thread is nothing to do with Comode firewall
and I really find you rather childish that you had to post about it!!
So if you have nothing good to say about Outpost FREE... DONT
    that is all

Comodo was only mentioned, because Outpost Security Suite still makes false claims.

I would've stopped there, but then doktornotor came along, also making false claims.

If you can't handle criticism, then good luck in real life.

As this thread was just an announcement of a version update, let's wrap it up here with all the above comments duly noted, of course.
