My Eset no longer loads with windows. Both modules are set to load. I checked the services to make sure. No the tray icon is not hidden it doesn't load the main program at all.

This is a pretty new install of windows 7, same problem occurs with another computer. Both computers have win7 64bit.

In order to load the program I have to run the exe file.

Any ideas how I could fix this? Ive done the obvious things I can think of checked running services and startup options, uninstalling/reinstalling Eset. Possible this is related to a Microsoft update?

    Rabb,

When you guy into the System Configuration Utility, do you see egui checked at all?

Does this happen after a reinstall as well?

    Let me know

Sounds like something may be blocking it from start up since you uninstalled and reinstalled. This is very difficult to troubleshoot without an ESET Sysinspector log. I recommend contact your local ESET office for more assistance.

If you are in the US or Canada submit a support request @

    http://www.eset.com/us/support/contact

You will be asked to submit an ESET Sysinspector log. ;)

    Pro Tip:
make sure you use the same email addressed you registered your product with because ESET makes sure your license is valid before they assist. :thumb:

Do you get an error when you attempt to run egui.exe manually?

    Nope no error

Digging into event viewer, there are a few ID 7001 errors. So now if I can figure out how to fix this error. I will probably be able to fix Eset as well.
