well i wish a lot ,

for now i am wishing that my vipre problem gets solved otherwise i may have to uninstall though i dont want to as i am liking it very much

 

Mine would be that users engaged their brains before their clicking fingers but hang on, that is just too far fetched.

OK, then that AV suppliers share definitions so we could judge them on engine efficacy/GUI etc to make our decisions. Wait, no - that's even more far fetched than the first one!

Oh well it will just have to be that the major vendors release products that are ready for the real world and are are safe at default settings. Wait again, thats even more unlikely!

I'll settle for the inevitable then that the scales fall from the eyes of the general populus and Sandboxie is hailed king of products and saviour of the cyber world!

Well not a wish for an feature or improvement in a particular product but I really wish that Microsoft unguards the Kernel in x64 systems so that every product could do what they can do on a x86 system.

 

I wish to see System Safety Monitor reborn, naturally with all actual security requirements.

 

I wish that ESET will get a successful launch of Version 5.0
And that 5.0 will be as light or even lighter than the current version.

 

The NIS 2012, have a nice sandbox, seamless integration with 64-bit browsers, and if possible (not necessarily) he is lighter. But nothing is needed.

That can be easily arranged: Ubuntu (or any Linux distro) and even Apple don't really need any protection. I suspect though that lots of people (not really addressed to you) find it somewhat challenging to deal with potentially insidious malware, it makes surfing kind of less boring...

 

Yes, that would be nice. There is a kind of curse affecting good virtualizers: first ShadowUser Pro (which I'm still using on an XP Machine) has been discontinued by Storagecraft because of piracy (the only program which could continue virtual sessions over reboots), and now Shadow Defender which most likely won't work with Windows 8.

My wish, in relation to the aforementioned situation, would be to have super-fast imaging programs which could restore a system in 2 minutes or less. I think this is already possible with high end machines fitted with SuperSpeed USB 3.0 products. The point being that one could restore an OS with the same speed of a reboot.

 

Microsoft comes up with a version thats light and improved detection

I would like to see the stability improve so that it does not cause me more problems than it was intended to solve. That goes for any product.

Good Afternoon! I think you'll see a more active presence from G-Data;and G-Data Ed come the end of the month or the first two weeks in April with the Release of G-Data 2012 products. I think the Sales Dept at G-Data is hitting the road trying to generate new sales growth especially in the Enterprise Small and Medium Business Markets and setting up a more visible presence at trade and OEM market shows. My wish is that the antimalware market would change such that the signature detection would be on-demand and that the real-time component would be an antiexecutable. That way, drive-by downloads would not be allowed to run.
